Roncalli Rhythms

Dear Roncalli Community

I am sending this correspondence on behalf of our fantastic student leaders who are raising funds to support the Next Door Trust. This trust supports young people from disadvantaged, isolated, communities by offering scholarships to attend one of our Marist Network Schools. Two Roncalli students have benefitted from this trust and it has made a huge change to their lives. I ask that you please consider attending Roncalli Rhythms or making a donation to the trust if you are in a position to do so.

Kia ora from the Students Leaders Team at Roncalli College.

As we announced last term, we will be holding a variety concert, Roncalli Rhythms, to raise money for the ‘Next Door Trust’, which supports the education and development of young, disadvantaged, young people in isolated, rural parts of Aotearoa. In particular, addressing any barriers to education that young people from these communities may face. 

Our aim is to raise funds which will go towards giving a student the chance to have a quality secondary education at one of our fantastic Marist Network Schools. The event will be held at the Roncalli College Hall on the 13th of September at 7 pm.

We would love it if you would buy a ticket and support this amazing cause. There have already been two Roncalli students who have benefitted from this programme. If you are unable to make it to the concert, donations to the cause would also be greatly appreciated. Any contribution would go a long way in helping us make a difference in the life of a young New Zealander.
