Sacramental Programme
Roncalli College would like to warmly welcome your student into our Catholic whanau through the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism.
Through Baptism, you will be joined to a joyfilled and life-giving community, not only at this school, but across New Zealand. Globally there are 1.3 billion of us, and throughout the 2000 year history of the Church, goodness knows how many individuals have found meaning and connection through this Holy family.

Baptism is the first step along the road that Jesus invites us to walk to fullness of life and freedom of spirit.
Sacramental classes and activities will be offered during school hours. Parental support is important, and your guardians will be guided to discuss the journey to faith with you, and will be invited to celebrate your official welcoming into the Church. The baptism ceremony will be held when you are ready, and Roncalli College teachers and the Holy Family Parish will see you through the other Sacraments of Initiation (Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation) in due course (if you decide that’s what you want).
