We wish to invite you to senior conferencing on Tuesday 27 September 2022. Classes will not run on this day as we expect all senior students to attend conferencing. Students are not required to wear school uniform.
Conferencing is the formal opportunity for both you and your student to receive detailed feedback and feed forward on academic progress and the next steps to improve learning outcomes. Conferencing works best when all three parties, the student, parents/ caregivers and teacher are present. If due to unforeseen or exceptional circumstances a parent/ caregiver is unable to attend conferencing, we ask that another significant adult in your student’s life attend with them as it is critical that your student has the opportunity to be part of this formal reporting event.
You are encouraged to meet with as many of your student’s teachers as possible. Most subject teachers will be available between 9.00am-6.00pm in the Gymnasium. Interviews are for 5 minutes duration only. If you require more time for an interview, please arrange an alternative time to meet the teacher concerned.

NCEA Progress and Class Efforts are available on the portal. Class Efforts are designed to assist parents and students to gauge progress and complement the student conferencing that takes place at the end of the month. If you have not had the opportunity to view these yet, this information can be viewed by visiting the parent portal. We suggest you go to the student report > caregiver reports and download the PDF document to more easily show any trends. If you are unable to log onto the portal, please telephone the College Office and one of our Office team will be able to assist you with this.
We would also like to give you advance notice of our Course Selection / NCEA Evening for Year 10-12 students. This is on Wednesday 19 October from 5.30 - 6.30pm. More detailed information will be emailed closer to the time.
We look forward to seeing you at senior conferencing on Tuesday 27 September.
